Her playstyle revolves around lots of magic and a host of summoned creatures that clear maps for you. If you're looking for a stable and powerful endgame build, Minion Army Infernalist Witch is a fantastic option. This PoE 2 Witch Build is well-balanced: high damage, good survivability, and relatively simple gameplay. Moreover, it performs well even without extremely expensive gear, making it accessible for both newcomers and experienced players.
Minion Army Infernalist Witch – OP Endgame
The Minion Army Infernalist Witch in its endgame version significantly surpasses the early build. With the right gear selection and adjustments to the passive tree, this build turns into a true destruction machine. It perfectly combines massive damage and excellent survivability, making it one of the most strongest PoE2 Witch build. The best part is that it works without requiring a huge currency investment, making the build accessible to most players and especially appealing to those seeking a stable and efficient way to tackle the endgame.
Minion Army Infernalist Witch Endgame Skills
After reviewing and testing numerous skill build options, we arrived at this Path of Exile 2 Witch build. In this endgame skill build, we aimed to maximize damage and comfort while minimizing complexity. So, let’s dive into the overview of the Path of Exile 2 Witch endgame build.

The first skill we need, which will deal most of the damage, is Skeletal Arsonist. To make it even stronger, we’ll enhance it with support gems such as Scattershot, which provides an additional projectile and boosts summoned minions. Next, Martial Tempo to speed up the skeletons' attacks. Then, Fire Infusion, which increases fire damage and reduces fire resistance. Finally, Heft, which boosts the physical damage of summoned creatures.
The second skill is Raging Spirit, which synergizes with our third skill, Flame Wall. Regarding Raging Spirit, you have two options. The first option is to boost the spirits' health with support gems and then explode them, dealing massive damage to enemies while continuously spamming the ability. The second option, which we followed, focuses on maximizing the spirits' damage output. For this, we use support gems like Feeding Frenzy to increase minion damage, Fire Penetration to bypass fire resistance, Execute to deal extra damage to low-health enemies, and Elemental Focus, which increases elemental damage dealt by summoned minions.
Flame Wall is used to summon spirits and needs to be enhanced to spam it endlessly. We enhance this skill with Fortress, which creates a surrounding wall of fire instead of a straight line, adding bonus fire damage to all attacks passing through it. Since our minions attack randomly, it’s better to make the wall as large as possible. Arcane Tempo increases the cast speed of the ability, Spell Cascade expands its radius (though it reduces the damage slightly, the skill is primarily for support, not damage), and Inspiration lowers the cost, allowing us to spam Flame Wall more frequently.
The fourth skill is Summon Infernal Hound, unlocked after your first Ascendancy. In our PoE2 Witch endgame build, this skill acts as support. The Infernal Hound serves as a living shield to absorb damage. To achieve this, we enhance it with Meat Shield, which reduces the hound’s damage taken while increasing its health by 50%. Fire Exposure applies a debuff that lowers fire resistance of enemies, Strip Away enhances burning effects, and Elemental Army improves survivability by granting elemental resistances to the hound.

Next, we need Skeletal Warrior, which serves as another support skill, applying various debuffs to enemies. These debuffs are enabled by support gems like Blind, which blinds enemies, Culling Strike, which increases damage against rare and unique mobs, Maim, to slow enemies, and Splinter, which reduces enemy armor.
Skeletal Cleric is also essential to support our main forces and summoned creatures that absorb damage. They will heal other minions and even resurrect them. We enhance Skeletal Cleric with Ingenuity, which increases ability cooldown speed, and Last Gasp, which grants minions a few extra seconds of life when their health reaches zero.
The next skill, Skeletal Storm Mage, is needed to apply the Shock effect to enemies, thereby amplifying our main abilities. This skill is supported by gems like Conduction, which increases the chance to apply Shock, Overcharge, which strengthens the Shock effect, and Stormfire, which ensures that the Shock effect remains active as long as the enemies are Ignited.
Finally, we use the skill Pain Offering, which sacrifices a minion to boost the speed and strength of other summoned creatures.

The final skills we need to pick up are Flammability and Grim Feast. Flammability is a curse that we’ll apply to bosses to make them die within seconds. To enhance it, we use Magnified Effect and Heightened Curse, which increase the curse’s AoE and duration.
Grim Feast is an incredibly powerful ability that provides a substantial energy shield by consuming Grim Remnant corpses. This ability is enhanced solely through gear, which we’ll discuss later.
Minion Army Infernalist Witch Endgame Passives Tree
Moving on to the passive skill tree, it’s important to note that this setup is not from scratch but already includes adjustments. To review the progression before reaching the endgame, check out the PoE 2 Witch Build in Early Access. It covers skills, the talent tree, and overall gameplay.

Here’s an approximate view of the passive tree as it looks when you finish the campaign and transition to endgame content. The best part is that you won’t need to change anything significantly—just keep adding to it.

We’ll start by moving through the upper branch and investing in Patient Barrier, a crucial node that increases our energy shield by a massive 60%. Next, we’ll level up Ingenium, which grants an additional 25 intelligence.

Next, we’ll need to remove a few points from minor nodes and move downward to invest in Dampening Shield, a major node that further increases our energy shield and improves stun threshold. Continuing downward, we pick up Pure Energy, which boosts survivability by increasing the maximum energy shield pool. We complete this node chain with Open Mind, which enhances Mana Regeneration Rate by 25%.
Moving slightly up and to the right, in what is now shaping up to be our almost best Path of Exile 2 Witch build, we’ll take the Melding node, which provides another significant boost to the energy shield.

Here’s what the final version of the passive tree will look like. First, level up Mana Blessing, which increases your mana pool—a crucial stat for this build. Next, move far to the left and pick up Wide Barrier, which boosts your block chance by 30%. This is vital for our PoE 2 Witch Build, especially since we’ll be using a shield. Then, take Enhanced Barrier, which increases your energy shield and provides a bonus of +1% Maximum Elemental Resistances. Finally, level up Necrotic Touch, which significantly boosts the critical strike chance of your minions.
Keep in mind that you’ll still have remaining skill points. Use these to invest in the minor nodes as shown in the screenshot. If you started the build differently or aren’t sure how to transition into this setup, you’ll need to reset your skill points and allocate them to the required slots. For instructions on how to do this, refer to the article How To Refresh Passives in PoE 2: A Step-by-Step Guide to Resetting Passive Skill Points.
Minion Army Infernalist Witch Endgame Ascendancy

We haven’t changed the Ascendancy but have only enhanced it. Beidat's Will reserves 25% of your maximum health. In return, it increases your maximum Spirit: for every 25 points of your maximum health, you gain 1 additional Spirit.
Beidat's Hand also reserves 25% of your maximum health but instead boosts your Energy Shield. For every 8 points of your maximum health, you gain 1 additional point to your maximum Energy Shield. This makes the ability especially useful for turning our build into the best PoE 2 Witch build.
Minion Army Infernalist Witch Endgame Items
When discussing gear for this PoE 2 Witch Build, it’s important to note that the most essential stat you need on your equipment is + to minion level or levels.

This stat takes priority over everything else. You can find it on your weapon, helmet, and amulet. Spirit is increased through the rest of your gear, including your chest piece, rings, amulet, and shield.
Our primary defense and survivability focus on energy shields. Aim to have energy shield stats on everything—helmet, gloves, and boots.

A special mention goes to rings. You should look for fire and chaos resistance on them, as our Ascendancy requires it. Regarding health, it’s not a mandatory stat for this build. The strategy relies on you rarely taking direct damage, and your large energy shield serves as your primary defense. So, you can safely ignore health stats.
How to play Minion Army Infernalist Witch in PoE 2 Endgame
The gameplay for this build is very straightforward. All you need to do is monitor your health and the number of your minions while spamming Flame Wall to summon Raging Spirit. For map clearing, that’s all you need—no complicated combos. The build fully shines with powerful gear, but even with budget equipment, your chances of dying are extremely low. In boss fights, you’ll also need to cast Flammability, a curse that will help you annihilate any boss you encounter.
Conclusion
Minion Army Infernalist Witch is a top-tier endgame build that combines high damage with excellent survivability. It’s perfect for those who want consistent results without the need to farm tons of currency for gear. The build allows for easy map clearing and boss fights, leaving all the dirty work to your army of minions.
The gameplay is straightforward: focus on supporting your minions, spam the necessary skills, and watch everything around you turn to ash. This build is rightfully considered one of the best options for the Witch in PoE 2.
