ESL Pro League sesong 21 Seerguide: Tidsplan, lag, premie og annet

Welcome, Counter-Strike fans! ESL Pro League Season 21 may not be the most ambitious tournament, but it remains significant, just like a Major, as it will showcase the current state of teams at the start of spring.
ESL Pro League Season 21 All Info
This year, we have the Swiss Round, unlike last year’s Season 20 with its Triple Elimination, as in ESL Pro League Season 21, we have Swiss format rules.
The tournament follows a Swiss system format in the group stage, where teams compete for a spot in the playoffs. Matches are best-of-three (Bo3), ensuring fair competition. The top 8 teams from the first stage will advance to face 8 already-qualified teams in a single-elimination playoff bracket, concluding with a best-of-five (Bo5) grand final.
The Swiss Round format involves teams playing a set number of rounds, with opponents determined by win-loss records, and no immediate eliminations until the final rankings. In contrast, Triple Elimination allows teams to lose up to three times before being eliminated, giving them more chances to recover. The key difference lies in elimination: Swiss has no immediate knockouts, while Triple Elimination allows for multiple losses before a team is out.
Match Schedule

The tournament is set to take place in Stockholm, Sweden, adding to the event's prestige fleur.

Overview
Expect the top competitors like Vitality, NAVI, and G2 to lead the charge, while teams like Falcons and The MongolZ might surprise many, as the Mongolian team is showing growth and working on their mistakes. The team led by NiKo needs to start performing differently, or sad events await them in the near future. As for Spirit, they are holding their position as leaders, though it’s shaky; however, they shouldn’t rely on maintaining the number one spot for four years like Astralis did.
No matter what, one thing is certain: we’re in for some intense and unpredictable matchups.
