The guide on grenade throws at the middle of the map Anubis
Elen StelmakhWe continue the series of materials about grenade throws on the map Anubis. Last time, we were talking about the options of entering the bombsite B and considered six smoke grenade throws that can be used to cut off a few positions both in the close and long-range performance.
Now, we will consider the options of taking the middle that will help you to control an important part of the map and organize the split in both directions – bombsite A and bombsite B.
Smoke at the Mid House
Perhaps, it is the main smoke that will allow you to cut off the enemy sniper and hold the bridge. To throw a grenade, you will need to stand near the left edge of the fence located at the T spawn. Get up close to the furthest fence and turn around 180 degrees.
Now, find the corner brick and aim in the very middle of it as it is displayed in the screenshot below.

Smoke lands at the Mid House, obscuring the sniper’s view. However, in order to hold the bridge, you will need to throw a fire grenade at the double doors to prevent a possible peek by the opponent.
Smoke at «seven»
Let’s move to the next smoke grenade throw that is extremely useful to split the bombsite A. It allows you to cut off the enemy’s movement through the middle and hold an important part of the map to control the information.
Spawning at the T spawn, go towards Long, turning into the street. Find a small architectural column and press close to it.
Now, aim at the left pylon of the bridge and place the crosshair between the two ledges on the roof as it is displayed in the screenshot below.

Smoke will land right at the exit from the palace, which will obscure the enemy’s view and cut off opportunities for quick movements. Now, the attacking side will be able to enter bombsite A with a split, distracting the attention of the defensive side with the second vector through the main.
Smoke at the alley
This is another useful smoke in the middle that will help the attacking side to split the bombsite B and hold the middle of the map from the other side.
Respawn on the T spawn again and run towards Long, turning into the street before the bridge. Find an advertisement for a historical museum and press close to it.
Now, turn around and find the far left ledge of the pylon closest to you. Aim at the right edge of this ledge as it is displayed in the screenshot below.

Smoke hits mirrors and closes the alley obscuring the view of the defenders of bombsite A. Now, the attacking side can easily enter «seven» and take the palace using flash grenades to push the defensive side further into the bombsite.
Smoke at the double doors
This is another kind of smoke grenade throw that will help you to cut off the exit to the bridge for the enemy and allow you to use the received advantage to jump into the water and move to the connector.
Run towards Long and hit the corner next to the stone door. Here, run into a corner and turn 180 degrees.
Now, find a column of the destroyed ceiling. You will need to center your crosshair at the first left brick. Once you have found the far left corner, climb vertically up to the ledge as it is displayed in the screenshot below.

The smoke grenade hits the door leaf several times and lands in such a way as to block the opponent's position.
This smoke grenade throw should be used together with the first grenade throw at the Mid House to fully cut the opponent off the bridge and get the advantage. However, it is worth checking the cover where a defensive player can hide.
Smoke on the water
The last smoke grenade throw is useful for allowing you to run across boats toward the main and rush the bombsite A.
Spawn at the T spawn and turn right. Find a parked car and unloaded boxes. Now, stand close to these boxes and turn 180 degrees.
Find the topmost windows in front of the building and aim in the middle as it is displayed in the screenshot below.

Smoke lands on the water to obscure the view of the player at the connector. Now, the attacking side will have an opportunity to run across boats without the fear of getting hit by a sniper.
To do a quick attack on bombsite A using this smoke throw, you should leave one player out on the street for backup. He will be controlling the opponent’s possible aggression from the bridge and also cut off the push from Long.
