The International 2024 (TI 13) Format Explanation

Since 2011, hundreds of thousands of Dota 2 fans have annually gathered in front of their displays or in the atmospheric stadium in anticipation of fierce and colorful battles at the main MOBA tournament from Valve in the year. The quarterfinals of the upper bracket, as well as the first and second rounds of the losers' bracket also belong to The Road to The International. All matches will be played in a bo3 format.

The International Format

Starting with the top 8 playoff bracket, Valve calls this part of the tournament The International, which will take place on the final days from September 13th to 15th. Like the first playoff matches, all matches at The International, with the exception of the grand final of the championship, will be held in a bo3 format. The Dota 2 World Champion in 2024 will be determined by the results of the bo5 confrontation.

In addition, in the last couple of years, a trend has been established that only the last few days of the tournament are held in a stadium with spectators. And The International 2024 is no exception. About The International 2024 (TI 13)
