Imperial Esports has qualified for ESL Pro League Conference Season 17 as paiN Gaming has already secured its participation in the tournament following the results of ESL Challenger League Season 41: North America. As a result, Imperial Esports have been invited to the upcoming ESL Pro League Conference Season 17 as the next runner-up team at ESL Challenger at DreamHack Melbourne 2022.
As a reminder, the Brazilian team paiN Gaming became the champion of the last ESL Challenger at DreamHack Melbourne 2022, which gives them the right to play at the ESL Pro League Conference Season 17. However, the team won the ESL Challenger League Season 41: North America earlier, thus qualifying for the championship.
As a result, the organizers, using the rules for issuing invitations, decided to give Imperial Esports the right to participate in the championship.
