k0 nfig skadet ankelen i en slåsskamp med en nattklubbpromoter på Malta
/According to Jaxon.gg, Danish esports player k0nfig injured his ankle in a fight with a nightclub promoter in Malta. The journalists of the portal shared this after a conversation with a witness of the incident.
Recall that at the beginning of the week, the same source said that the Danish organization Astralis was ready to part ways with k0nfig after a fight during the ESL Pro League Season 16. At the same time, information appeared that the Dane himself would miss the upcoming RMR tournament due to injury ankles, giving way to the young MistR.
While k0nfig himself called the material "bullshit", Jaxon.gg published details of an incident in which the 25-year-old Danish esportsman was directly involved.
Michael de Jong, who witnessed the fight, spent the evening with friends in Malta and had a bite to eat on the way home. Suddenly, he witnessed an argument, which quickly escalated, between a nightclub promoter and a guy he recognized as k0nfig. According to de Jong, the Dane and the promoter had a heated argument outside the Flow nightclub. As a result, the promoter spat in k0nfig's face, kicked him, and disappeared into the nightclub as the bouncers arrived.
A few minutes later the promoter left the club. k0nfig noticed him and wanted to fight back. k0nfig saw him and ran after him; he was unstoppable. I followed him after a few seconds because I was worried. They got into a fight and fell to the ground as k0nfig screamed that he had broken his leg.
According to de Jong, an employee of a nearby hotel arrived at the scene and called the police, who arrived a few minutes later with a group of friends of the esportsman.
According to Jaxon.gg, the Astralis organization is still deciding what to do with their player. At the same time, the club does not rule out that it can send k0nfig to the bench or sell it to another team. At present, the parties have not commented on the revealed information, while the 25-year-old Dane continues to stand his ground, refuting the rumors.
