/The fourth round of the IEM Rio Major 2022 Challengers Stage has come to an end, following which Evil Geniuses , IHC Esports and Grayhound Gaming suffered their third defeat and left the championship. On the contrary, the teams BIG, Outsiders and FURIA got the third victory, thanks to which they advanced to the next stage of the competition. Well, we propose to sum up the results of the past game day and present the available layouts.
Fourth round of IEM Rio Major 2022 Challengers Stage
The game day started with a fairly obvious victory for OG over the Mongols from IHC Esports (2:0). At the same time, the German team BIG turned out to be stronger than 9z (2:0), thus breaking into the "legends" of IEM Rio Major 2022.
In the next portion of the matches, the Outsiders team defeated fnatic (2:0), while Vitality, as expected, defeated Grayhound Gaming (2:0).
Late in the evening, the Brazilian team FURIA pleased the local audience by defeating GamerLegion (2:0). In a parallel match, the Cloud9 team outplayed Evil Geniuses (2:0), knocking out the North Americans from the championship.

IEM Rio Major 2022 takes place from October 31 to November 13 in Brazil at the Jeunesse Arena and at the Riocentro convention center. As part of the championship, 24 teams from the CIS, Europe, North and South America, and Asia are fighting for a total prize pool of $1,250,000, ranking points in the BLAST Premier table, as well as tickets to BLAST Premier: World Final 2022 and IEM Katowice 2023 for the winner.
