
Astralis slår ut 3DMAX fra PGL Masters Bucuresti 2025
Astralis confidently defeated 3DMAX 2–0 on Ancient (13:3) and Inferno (13:10), knocking the French team out of PGL Masters Bucharest 2025. The Danish squad showed great teamwork, led by dev1ce, who dominated on Ancient with a 1.9 rating. 3DMAX finish the tournament in 12–14th place, while Astralis move on to a decisive 2–2 match for a playoff spot.
Ancient (3:13 Astralis)
Astralis easily won their own map pick, Ancient, with a 13–3 scoreline. 3DMAX couldn’t find an answer to Astralis’ powerful T side, winning only three rounds in the first half. The situation didn’t change after the switch — Astralis quickly closed out the game. The team’s AWPer, dev1ce, delivered an outstanding performance with a 19/7 K/D and a 1.9 rating.
Inferno (10:13 Astralis)
The first half was fairly even, with both teams trading rounds and showing solid play. In the second half, 3DMAX managed to close the gap to 10–11, but Astralis secured two crucial rounds to seal the map 13–10.
Match MVP
Despite the loss, the best player of the series was 3DMAX’s Ex3rcice. His stats throughout the match were impressive: 84.8 ADR, +3.48% Swing, and a 1.37 rating — the only positive rating in his team.
3DMAX entered the event as one of the tournament favorites but exit early with a 1–3 record, finishing 12–14th and earning $9,375 for both the team and the organization. Astralis advance to the 2–2 bracket, where there’s no room for mistakes. PGL Masters Bucharest 2025 runs from October 26 to November 1, featuring a total prize pool of $625,000 — with $200,000 going to both the winning team and organization.
