The roster holds the third place of the world rating thanks to good results of the last month - the team got the 3-4 place at ESL One: Cologne 2018, Esports Championship Series Season 5 - Finals and ESL Pro League Season 7 - Finals, and also became the world champion according to ESL One: Belo Horizonte 2018. The first match of this championship resulted in their sensational loss against Mousesports by the score of 2:1.

Bookmakers think that FaZe Clan are favourites of the competition and set the coefficient of their win equal to 1.4, while Fnatic's triumph is evaluated as 2.7. We agree with the idea that GuardiaN and Co have more chances to win, but we do not agree with the difference between the coefficients as the match against Mousesports proved that FaZe Clan have a lot of problems after Olofmeister joined them. Olof performed pretty well himself, but rain completely disappeared from the map.
