The teams faced for the last time at EPICENTER 2018 about two weeks ago and the guys from FaZe Clan became the winners, who beat their opponent with a score 2:0.

Team Liquid play stable enough and in autumn, the guys managed to place 3rd-4th at FACEIT Major: London 2018 and EPICENTER 2018 and held the second place at ESL One: New York 2018 but they are moving away from their best shape a bit. At the current championship, the roster beat Luminosity and Mousesports in the group stage, however, lost to Fnatic, which guaranteed itself an advancement to the playoffs only from the second place. Team LDLC.com was beaten in the playoffs by NAF and the company.

In its turn, FaZe Clan continues playing absolutely unpredictably and they visited DreamHack Masters Stockholm 2018, FACEIT Major: London 2018 and ESL One: New York 2018 in autumn but they were not able to place higher than 7th-8th. The roster managed to win EPICENTER later but the team won only two maps at BLAST Pro Series: Copenhagen 2018 and held the fourth place out of six possible. In general, the team’s progress is clear and they play much better than in summer, however, they have to work on the stability. At IEM Chicago 2018, the team advanced from the first place, having beaten Team LDLC.com, MiBR, and Astralis.

Bookmakers consider FaZe Clan to be an obvious favorite of the match and offer odds for their victory in the sum of 1.5, while Team Liquid’s triumph is evaluated as 2.5. We don’t fully agree with such distribution of power and think that the teams are almost equal and their chances to win are 50-50, so we will prefer the North American roster.
