Rykte: T1 vil signere ana og Topson
Maksym ShylovThe T1 esports organization will replenish its Dota 2 roster with two former OG players, two-time The International champions. These are Anathan 'ana' Pham and Topias 'Topson' Taavitsainen.
Users first noticed a T1 post that featured a Specter with the caption “Closer to ascension”. Later, the organization's Twitter account followed ana and Topson. T1 subscribe only to their players.
Ana recently played as a stand-in for Royal Never Give Up at the PGL Arlington Major. There he filled in for Ghost, who was unable to make it to the US. At the tournament, the Chinese team took 9th-12th place, losing to Outsiders with a score of 0:2 in the first round of the playoffs.
Topson has not played at a professional level since the end of The International 10, where OG stopped at 7-8th. After that, the player went inactive to take care of family affairs. In particular, Topias had a baby. OG recently reported that Topson could play for any team that wants to buff ahead of TI 2022.
According to the results of DPC SEA 2021/2022 Tour 3: Division I T1, they took 5th place. In total, the team earned 272 DPC points, which was not enough to get a slot at the main event of the year. Thus, the club will take part in the qualification for The International 2022 in Southeast Asia.
The expected roster of T1 will look like this:
- ana
- Topson
- Kuku
- Xepher
- whitemon
Recall that The International 2022: Southeast Asia Qualifier will be held from September 3rd to 18th of this year. The 14 teams that did not qualify for the World Championship based on DPC points will compete for the only slot at The International 2022.
