Today's first stream of matches in Group B has come to an end. Two matches ended in a fighting draw, and one meeting ended in victory for one of the participants in the meeting. We talk more about this later in the material.

Fnatic vs Team Liquid

1 card

On the first map, Fnatic made a big bet on the excellent performance of the midlaner and carry on their heroes, giving them Puck and Bloodseeker. The mid laner lived up to the team's expectations and got 16 kills while only dying 5 times. Jabz, using Venomancer, also brought a lot of impact to the game, scoring 38 assists on 48 total kills. No other Fnatic representative has been able to achieve such an indicator.

The first map looked like a swing and Fnatic either gained an advantage or gave it away to their rivals, and on the battlefields the spectators kept watching how the teams played one teamfight after another. After 50 minutes of play, the teams were still unable to determine the favorite of the meeting, but after a couple of successful team fights that ended in victory for Fnatic, the latter quickly began to gain an advantage and in a matter of minutes broke away from their opponents by almost 40,000 networth.

After Jabz and his teammates cleared all three lanes and shoved one T4 tower, their opponents called GG and moved on to the second map. The first map, by the way, ended in 58 minutes with a score of 48-31 in favor of Fnatic.

The second map was similar to the first one in that the first half hour of the game also included swings. Both teams changed their approach and the pick was different from what we saw on the first map.

This time, Team Liquid took Queen of Pain and Razor. Fnatic decided to bet on Pudge, who was played by their opponents on the first map, but the result was just as negative.

Fnatic should be given credit as the Asian team farmed very well. Despite the fact that for the first half hour they significantly sagged in massive teamfights and usually lost 4-5 heroes per fight, they still kept out of the farming gap from their opponents.

However, at 31 minutes, a turning point came, as a result of which, Team Liquid began to lead this game. When the team took the lead, it was quite difficult to stop this train.

The team was gaining an advantage like a snowball, and in the moment on the 42nd minute there was a moment that won the game for them. The team took part in a mass brawl, as a result of which they lost only Earthshaker and Razor, and Fnatic lost six heroes. It is worth praising the main traders with their face, Boxi and zai soaked up the damage, giving space to their teammates. Interestingly, in the entire game, there was not a single fight in which Liquid lost more than two heroes.

After 43 minutes of play, Team Liquid took a lead of 28,000 in net worth and shoved two lanes to their opponents, after which they immediately took to the throne.

Despite the fact that zai, playing on Razor, died eight times in a game, he managed to enter the top 2 in kills made on the team. MiCKe, in turn, maximized Queen of Pain and finished the map with a score of 14-5-19.

BOOM Esports vs Nigma Galaxy

1 card

BOOM Esports relied on the strength of Weaver and Keeper of the Light in the first map, sending the former to the safe lane and the latter to the mid. If Yopaj did his job well in the mid lane and became the most valuable player on the team, then Weaver did not do very well, despite the fact that he still won the lane.

Nigma Galaxy, in turn, chose Bloodseeker and Dawnbreaker as their main strike force. Dreamocel, who attended the tournament as a replacement for Miracle- in the ranks of Nigma Galaxy, showed a very good game this time and finished the meeting with a score of 13-3-18, but the contribution of SumaiL should not be underestimated either. The latter finished the meeting with a score of 19-3-14.

The teams decided to follow the path of mass fights and spent the first 35 minutes in hot battles. Even though Nigma Galaxy were doing more kills, BOOM Esports didn't fall behind in terms of farming and held up well. After 35 minutes, KuroKy and his comrades began to gain the upper hand and BOOM Esports wrote “GG” 49 minutes into the game after their opponents took down two lanes. The map ended with an overall score of 46-24 in favor of Nigma Galaxy.

2 map

The second card followed the patterns of the first. There, the balance was also maintained for a long time with some deviations in favor of Nigma Galaxy. However, BOOM Esports has always balanced the level of net worth and at the 40th minute the difference in the teams farm was only 3,000. After that, Nigma Galaxy had a successful fight for themselves, and then another one and quickly managed to overcome the bar of 20,000 net worth separating them from their rivals.

Yopaj from BOOM Esports was good again and, playing for Zeus, brought the maximum impact to the team, but this was not enough. SumaiL and Dreamocel turned out to be much stronger again and on Queen of Pain and Terrorblade they were able to defeat their rivals.

The map ended in 44 minutes with a score of 43-30 in favor of Nigma Galaxy. The duel between the above-named teams has become so far the only one in the framework of today's matches of Group B, which ended in someone's victory, not a draw.

OG vs. TSM

1 card

The meeting between OG and TSM was quite interesting and intriguing. In it, on the first map, OG focused on the mid Shadow Fiend and the core Troll Warlord. Bzm and Yuragi showed a master class on these heroes and, albeit in a somewhat thorny way, they nevertheless led the team to triumph.

TSM struggled with their opponents for a long time and, despite some failed teamfights, kept afloat until 32 minutes. They periodically made comebacks, however, in the last 3 minutes of the game, OG managed to competently fight and demolish the throne to their opponents.

Taiga, by the way, took Chen, who is rarely seen on the professional stage. The first map ended with a fight where TSM lost all their heroes.

On the second map, TSM worked on the bugs and turned the scenario of the last match against OG upside down. This time, not OG, but TSM used Queen of Pain to achieve their goals, and OG, having given Troll Warlord to Yuragi in the safe lane, could not achieve success.

Offlaner of the winning team, SabeRLighT-, performed best of all, and his initiation on Ax was more than excellent and left opponents confused.

The first 20 minutes OG could impose some kind of fight on their opponents, but after that TSM had a number of successful fights for themselves and won after 35 minutes, breaking away from the rivals by 22,000 net worth.

They managed to shove all three lanes and the opponents called “GG” without waiting for the inevitable.

Players of the meeting: SabeRLighT- and Timado, who showed the most impressive results. Bzm from OG at the initial stage won the mid and became the best in his team, but this did not help.
