N0 tail og Topson skal spille sammen igjen i DPC 2023-sesongen
Maksym ShylovThe official roster registration site for the upcoming DPC season features a roster called Old G. The team currently has 4 players, including Dota 2 scene legends from OG, N0tail and Topson. Earlier we wrote that PSG.LGD presented an updated roster for the upcoming season .
Johan 'N0tail' Sundstein is a Dota 2 scene legend from Denmark who became popular thanks to his performance for the OG team. Together with his teammates, N0tail became a two-time world champion by winning The International 2018 and The International 2019. Also known as BigDaddy, the player earned $7,175,339 in prize money during his career. Since November 2021, N0tail has been inactive, participating in the life of OG in managerial positions.
Arif 'MSS' Anwar is another Dota 2 veteran. MSS has been playing professionally since 2013. The previous team for the esportsman was Soniqs, formerly known as the Quincy Crew. Together with him, QC, and later Soniqs, had a strong regional run last season, finishing 3rd at DPC NA 2021/2022 Tour 1: Division I and DPC NA 2021/2022 Tour 2: Division I, and winning silver within DPC NA 2021/2022 Tour 3: Division I. In the international arena, the e-sportsman did not excel in the past season. 17th place at PGL Arlington Major 2022 and 17-18th place at The International 2022 can hardly be called good achievements.
Topias 'Topson' Taavitsainen also played in the legendary OG roster and boasts similar achievements to N0tail. Returning to the pro scene this year, Topson played in Southeast Asia for T1 as a stand-in. The team was able to get into the Last Chance Qualifier thanks to the 3rd place at The International 2022: Southeast Asia Qualifier, but the player did not qualify for The International this year.
Volodymyr 'No[o]ne-' Minenko, a well-known Ukrainian esportsman, played for Natus Vincere for two seasons. This year, together with NAVI, the player scored a good performance at the regional level. Natus Vincere finished in 2nd place at DPC EEU 2021/2022 Tour 3: Division I. But at PGL Arlington Major 2022, the team stopped at 13-14th place, and NAVI did not pass the Last Chance Qualifier to participate in The International 2022.
The composition of Old G is presented below:
- No[o]ne-
- Topson
- MS
- N0tail
The last player of the squad is currently unknown. Old G is likely to take part in the DPC season in Western Europe, organized by tournament operator PGL .
