Maksym ShylovOn January 10, the first matches of the DPC SA 2023 Tour 1: Division I will start. The best representatives of South America will compete in the first DPC division of the season for prize money, DPC points and slots for the winter Major, which will be held in Lima, Peru. Format
8 teams will play bo3 matches in the Single Round-Robin format. That is, each of the participants will have to hold 7 fights within the group. Esports clubs that take places in the top 2 will receive, in addition to the prize money, slots for the first Major in 2023, 4D Esports Lima Dota Major 2023.
Teams from the top 6 retain their places in the first division of South America. Participants who take 7th and 8th place will be forced to continue their performance in the DPC in the second division with teams below the class.

There have been a number of changes from the previous season. SG esports have disbanded their own roster, their slot has been taken over by Evil Geniuses. Tempest also said goodbye to the roster. The place was bought by the esports organization Alliance, founding the roster of Alliance.LATAM. The Wolf Team slot has been taken over by Keyd Stars, while Infinity will replace No Runes.
Prize distribution
Teams will compete for a $205,000 prize pool and 690 DPC points.

- 2nd Place - $28,000 - 180 DPC points - Major and Division I slot
- 3rd - $27,000 - 120 DPC points - Division I slot
- 4th - $26,000 - 60 DPC points - Division I slot
- 5th Place - $25,000 - 30 DPC points - Division I slot
- 6th - $24,000 - Division I slot
- 7th - $23,000 - Division II slot
- 8th - $22,000 - Division II slot
