We continue to follow the action at DreamLeague Season 21. Group B matches are back on the screens.

OG and EG will play their first match in the last major commercial tournament of the season. The format of the match is Bo2, as before.

We will try to find out whether there will be a winner in this duel, who will be able to win the big event or everything will end in peace.

Evil Geniuses uniforms

Let's open the match with an analysis of Evil Geniuses' form. In this match, the team will play as favourites.

Bookmakers confirm this. The odds for the victory of EG are at around 3.2.

Evil Geniuses made it to the Riyadh Masters 2023 thanks to ESL rankings and the merits of the past. I don't know if Bali Major 2023 was a mental breakdown or if EG really started playing so badly.

After failing at Bali Major 2023, I didn't expect anything good from EG, but EG turned it on. The Evil Geniuses closed out the first game day with a 3-1 win over 9 Pandas and finished with a draw against Team Spirit. However, it was not possible to finish what they started: at the end of Riyadh Masters 2023 Evil Geniuses finished in the Top 12, which was a so-so result.

After participating in Riyadh Masters 2023, Evil Geniuses visited BB Dacha. They failed it, ranking in the top 6 out of 8 places.

Evil Geniuses most popular heroes

Evil Geniuses' top most popular heroes were Beastmaster and Death Prophet. Both heroes were taken 8 times each and had 75% wins.

Following DP and Primal Beast was Leshrac, and he was most often played in the third position. He appeared 6 times and had a 66% winrate.

Also peaking were Marci (5 matches, 60% wins), Templar Assassin (4 matches, 100% wins), Jakiro (4 matches, 100% lunch).

OG Form

We continue the match breakdown by analysing OG's match performance. In this match they are playing second best.

Bookmakers do not really believe in OG. The odds on the victory of the Europeans are at around 4.

Again, such a figure speaks only about parity, rather than the advantage or lag of one of the parties. Although, even against the backdrop of the tired EG, OG look worse.

At DPC 2023: WEU Tour 3, OG Long Team went down to the wire, but managed to keep their place in the top division by finishing in the top 5 in the third round of the professional season. By the way, at the last DreamLeague S19 OG also took 5th place and this is an indicator, but it is unlikely to be repeated in the new season.

After a year-long extravaganza, Ceb is the new OG player. OG resorted to their ultimatum weapon during DreamLeague Season 20, but it didn't help them and OG finished in the top 20.

After DreamLeague Season 20, OG attended another championship of a larger calibre, the Riyadh Masters 2023. Unfortunately for them, they ended it on a Minor note - in TOP-14.

"Closed" the season with a performance at the closed Western European qualifiers for The International 2023. The once two-time world champions failed to make it through the most competitive qualifiers and as a result, OG flew past The International.

However, for OG, the tournament is more important, as they are flying past The International 2023, but can fully focus on DreamLeague. Will it add to their game plan and allow them to win outright? I don't think so. But they will take the map.
