We close out the first game day of the final week of DPC 2023: WEU Division 1 with a betting contest between Team Secret and Quest Esports. Nothing less than a chance to stay in the top division is at stake and we don't want to say goodbye to it.

Secret is in a critical situation. Team Puppey, after the passage in the first division, looks bleak: now the Secret in the last line in the standings and defeat in this match, it seems to put an end to the further stay of Secret in the first division.

Quest Esports is in a much better situation. The team is in the middle of the standings and is feeling good so far, and a win here would greatly increase the chances of further success and possibly allow Quest to advance to the top division.

Let's see who will be stronger in this match and earn an important win, and who will have to accept defeat.

Quest Esports form

We open up the Quest vs Secret match-up with a look at the form of the former. It is Quest Esports who will play here as favourites.

The bookmakers confirm the pre-match situation. The odds for the win are at 1.6.

Who would have thought that a team relegated to the first division from the bottom league would now be favourites against a top club. That's the reality now, with minor adjustments.

Secret are long gone, but that doesn't downplay the level of play of Quest Esports. Quest have earned their status as a serious team over the current year.

They won Western Europe's second division at the start of the year - no easy feat, it should be noted. But it's much harder to stay in the first division, and that's something Quest handled with flying colours.

Last season they really put everybody and everything to shame in the first division. They almost made it to the Major but at the crucial moment the Ooredoo Thunders fumbled, lost to OG in tiebreaks and finished in the Top 5.

The team is now in 4th position with a score of 2-3. Quest Esports beat OG and Entity and lost to Tundra, Gaimin Gladiators and, surprise, D1 Hustlers.

Clockwerk (3 matches, 100% wins), Pangolier (2 matches, 100% wins), Silencer (2 matches, 50% wins), Death Prophet (2 matches, 0 wins), Rubick (2 matches, 0% wins). Not forgetting the signature Morphling. '

Quest Esports could have had a much nicer situation, but managed to lose at D1 Hustlers. Basically, that's all of them - no stability.

Team Secret form

We continue the parsing of the game with an analysis of Team Secret's playing form. In this match, they will have to play in catch-up status.

The only win came against D1 Hustlers, who in turn beat Quest Esports. It's funny how that works, but I don't think there's any deeper meaning to it.

Secret has Mirana, Tusk and Primal Beast among the most chosen heroes. All have 6 matches and 83% of wins.

In addition Monkey King and Ember Spirit appeared in spades (5 games and 100% wins each). Death Prophet also played 5 matches, however she won 4 matches.

Also took Jakiro (3 matches, 100% wins), Enchantress (3 matches, 100% wins). Abaddon (2 matches, 66% wins), Broodmother (2 matches, 100% wins).

It's unclear why Secret should win. Apparently, only a miracle.

History of head-to-head encounters

The teams have not met each other before. This match is the debut for the two teams.

Match outcome

A win for Quest Esports would be the logical outcome of this encounter. However, after their last game against the D1 Hustlers, I'm somehow afraid ѕtuplet for Quest.

They'll probably get one card from Puppey and company, but that's as far as they'll go.
