Liquid in the new season as if they were off the chain. The team, which took TOP-3 at The International last year, does not plan to lose momentum in the new season: Liquid will come to the match on the first line with 3 wins and 6 cards taken.

Liquid will be opposed by Into The Breach. A team that has 1-2 stats, but that shows a very decent DotA, butting against teams with a higher status.

If in Western Europe the glory of the “kings of online” was fixed for Liquid, then on LANs their game drove them into sadness. The team entered the TOP-12 of the major twice, which did not allow them to get directly to The International.

Fortunately for Liquid, the qualifiers for the main event of the year were held online, where the current Liquid felt at ease.

The Last Chance Qualifier was held directly in Singapore, which, however, did not prevent the team from taking the TOP-2 there and getting to The International.

At The International 2022, the team held almost a “miracle run”. “Liquid” reached the TOP-3, although there were no prerequisites for this.

After a targeted replacement of a player in the autumn off-season, Liquid started the DPC 2023 with a confident victory over their principal rival. In the first match, the liquid ones beat Team Secret with a score of 2-0.

Liquid's next opponent was Tundra. What was supposed to be the toughest test for the Liquids turned out to be a game of medium tension: Liquid outplayed Tundra 2-0, thus outplaying perhaps the main competitor in a face-to-face confrontation.

In the third match we played against Entity. The acceleration continued and Liquid actually took out their counterparts with a score of 2-0, leaving no chance. Nisha, by the way, made a very effective highlight by stealing Aegis on Tusk-are and got away with it.

In their picks, Liquid focuses on Death Prophet (4 matches, 75% wins), Mars (4 matches, 50% wins), Slark (3 matches, 66% wins), Vengeful Spirit (3 matches, 66% wins), Marci and Pudge (3 matches, 66% of wins).

Form Into The Breach

We continue the review with the analysis of the form of Into The Breach. They are predicted to be an outsider in this match.

ITB Performance

We started last season from 6th place in the DPC WEU 2021/2022 Tour 1: Division II, which almost put an end to the team's performance in the DPC ecosystem. Then there were performances at local events, including the TOP-17 at D2CL Season 7.

In April, DPC WE 2021/2022 Tour 2: Division II took place, where ITB took 5th place, after which they signed the current roster, in almost identical form, with the exception of the fourth position player.

In July, the team played at DPC WEU 2021/2022 Tour 3: Division II. The updated roster immediately flew into the TOP-2, which allowed them to be here at DPC 2023.

Before the start of the rating league, ITB played qualifiers for ESL and The International, as well as a couple of local tournaments (TOP-2 1x Series, TOP-3 Last-Last Chance). Qualifiers for the main championship of the year ended for ITB in fourth place.

In the first game of DPC 2023, they played against Entity. The series ended with a score of 0-2, but ITB struggled on the second map.

In the second game of the season, against Team Secret, Into The Breach didn't just struggle. They took out Nigma Galaxy with a score of 2-0, and they, in turn, took the card from Tundra Esports.

Next, ITB played against Tundra Esports. The match turned out to be very colorful, and as we said, ITB still managed to squeeze the whole card from the reigning world champions. I don’t know about you, but for me it’s already an indicator.

Liquid on this tour look too monumental and I think this monumentality will not go anywhere. In this match, ITB will get 0-2, but in the future they will have every chance to fight for a place in the top division and stay here for the next round.
