LGD Gaming is the 5th team of the world ranking. They managed to reach the 3rd place at The International 2023, but for some reason this did not satisfy the organisation and the players had to undergo changes. NTS(2) and Planet(4) left the team and were replaced by Emo and Pyw respectively. It's hard to speculate how much of an impact this will have on the team's performance, but it looks like an easing. Luckily for the team, they got into the tournament by direct invitational due to their merit in the previous tournament.

Team Liquid is the 4th team in the world ranking. Although expectations for the guys were high at The International 2023, they managed to get only to the 5th-6th place. After that Zai takes a temporary break from the competitive scene and is replaced by 33. Excellent European qualifications at ESL, handling all opponents 2 0.

In the last four meetings between the organisations LGD have always taken at least a card, if not the whole series. I'll put my faith in them this time too.
