DreamLeague Season 22: WEU Closed Qualifier continues on our screens. In case anyone forgot, there are 8 teams playing for two tickets to DreamLeague Season 22 - the first ranking tournament of the renewed professional Dota 2 environment.

Among the contenders for the main tournament are Secret and Tundra. They are also the main contenders for the main tournament. However, since they start the road to Main Event with a face-to-face match, the chance for both teams to get there is rapidly decreasing.

Tundra Esports uniforms

Before The International 2023, Tundra visited DreamLeague Season 21. There, the team somehow made it to the top 6, where they were knocked out by OG.

Tundra Esports finished the first day at the top of the standings. Topson and company finished 5-1 on maps: they won the series against TSM and Talon, but gave the map to Keyd Stars. Next - the same confident performance and TOP-1 in their group in the end.

After going through the group stage with confidence, Tundra Esports looked very disappointing in the main event. The team lost to Nouns 0-2 in the play-offs seeding match and fell to the bottom of the net, where they fell to Entity 0-2, thus finishing The International 2023 in the top 16.

The last event before BB Dacha was the Western European qualifiers for The International 2023. Secret looked good through the qualifiers, but still couldn't break through the most competitive region, ending up in the top 4.

At BB Dacha, SumaiL joined Puppey and that did the team good. Secret made it through the group stage and won the first round of the top set, shutting out beastcoast 2-0.

In the match to qualify for the BB Dacha Grand Final, Secret played against GG. The match ended with an expected win for GG on two maps. Having got to the bottom net Secret finished their performance at BB Dacha by defeating PSG Quest.

After the successful tournament came a series of qualifying events. Secret tried their best to qualify for a major international event, and they did. After two open qualifications and a closed stage of qualifiers, Puppey and company went to ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023, where they played quite well. The final top-8 ranking hints at the ability of Secret's current roster to put on a pretty decent performance.
