LCK Spring 2024 is heating up after a short pause. The race for 2 slots at the Mid-Season Invitational 2024 and the title of champion of one of the most prestigious leagues.

Among the contenders for the title are HLE and BRION. And while we can believe in the success of the former after their successful Reshuffle, BRION has very little chance to place high at the end of LCK Spring 2024.

Nevertheless, we will see which team will be stronger in the next B3 match of the LCK Spring 2024 group stage.

HLE Form

Let's open the match analysis with the analysis of HLE form. In this match, the team is playing first and the odds for their victory are at 1.02!

HLE, being a solid mid-table team, can reach the late stages of the regular split. And it only started to happen in 2023. Before that, in the 2022 season, HLE were the worst team in the race, twice finishing in the top 10 in regular splits.

They managed to improve by 2023, after a major Reshuffle. Two reigning world champions joined the HLE roster, which strengthened the club considerably.

In the first play-offs match HLE warmed up against DRX. Nominally reigning world champions couldn't do anything against their visions and HLE easily closed the match with the score 3-0.

Then the situation was not so rosy: HLE ran into Gen.G and fell 0-3. The favour went to the bottom set of play-offs, but it did not save them for long.

Hanwha Life Esports faced KT Rolster in the first match of the last chance grid. The pressure was too hard and HLE was washed away: 0-3 and a play-offs exit, and at the same time not a pass to the Worlds 2023.

They tried to make it to the Worlds in the regional finals, but again failed. The final LCK tournament of the season finished in the top 3, having failed to use either of their two attempts to qualify for the Worlds: they lost first to KT Rolster 1-3 and then to Ledge or DPlus KIA with the same score.

Since the break, HLE are in 3rd place in the group table, breathing down the neck of T1. The team is 5-1.

BRION have been on the competitive scene of League of Legends for a long time, but they have not been able to collect results. Speaking specifically about LCK, they have been playing there since 2021.

In the 2021 season, the team had two back-to-back losses: at LCK Spring they were in the top 10, and at LCK Summer they were in the top 9. Then came 2022, but the performance didn't change at all: first top 6 at LCK Spring 2022, then top 9 at LCK Summer 2022.
