The third quarter-final of the tournament started on the Breeze map, which became the choice of the European team. At the same time, Team Liquid players seized the initiative quite early, showing a confident attack. Well, after the change of sides, OpTic Gaming failed to return to the game, thus allowing the "liquid" to take the lead in the series — 13:7.

Next, the teams moved to the Bind map, which turned out to be the choice of OpTic Gaming. Here, the North Americans have already found their game, even if they had an equal first half. However, after the switchover, Chet's men managed to take the initiative under their control, thanks to which they equalized the score in the series — 13:8.

Everything was decided on the Ascent map, the first half of which put everything in its place. After the side switch, the European team still tried to return the intrigue to the server, but it turned out to be too late. As a result, OpTic Gaming scored a victory on the desider, and then made it to the semi-finals of the competition — 13:8.

VALORANT Champions 2022 takes place from August 31 to September 18 in Istanbul at the Volkswagen Arena. As part of the championship, sixteen teams from Europe, North and South America, Brazil, South Korea, Japan, China and Southeast Asia are fighting for a total prize pool of $1,000,000.
