100 Thieves had a fantastic journey, winning the 1st Split of VCT Americas, and having a solid run in Masters Shanghai, finishing 4th in the tournament while beating teams like "PRX" and "FUT." This team has shown us that they can play good Valorant and fight for titles. Unfortunately, after coming back home for the 2nd split, they weren't expecting other teams to fight back. Before their first game against a clear outsider, Furia, Boostio (100 Thieves captain) stated, "If I lose today, I retire. I don't even know who I'm playing, to be honest." Karma hit him back with a 2-0 defeat. After that, they only secured one win against MIBR, the team who had only won one map in the whole VCT Americas.

EG, on the other hand, continue to exceed our expectations. After winning the Champions in LA in 2023, they lost 4 players, with Jawgemo and Potter (as coach) being the only ones remaining. With a lot of new, inexperienced additions, no one thought that they would compete face to face against the favorite teams, but they proved us wrong, upsetting teams like Sentinels, NRG, and Loud. It looks like Potter has the secret formula. Watching them play is a pleasure, so I'm gonna go with EG 2-1 against 100 Thieves. If you want a safer bet, I would advise betting on 2.5 Maps in the series.
