Overføringer før BLAST Premier Fall 2022 Groups: vil omstillinger påvirke maktbalansen?
/There is only a week and a half left before the start of the first championship of the second half of the 2022 season. At the same time, the participants have already registered their lineups for BLAST Premier Fall 2022 Groups, since the rosterlock came on August 1st. Since half of the participants in the tournament made changes to their rosters in one way or another, we will try to understand which team benefited from the reshuffles, and which, on the contrary, only lost. As a result, we will tell you about all the transitions that have taken place and estimate who will be the main favorite of BLAST Premier Fall 2022 Groups.
What commands are left unchanged?
Let's start with those teams that did not make substitutions in this transfer window and decided to keep the squad intact. First of all, we should talk about FaZe Clan, a team that has overshadowed the rest of the scene with their incredible victories. It is quite expected that the best team in the world ranking will do without changes in the composition, since the champion of the major simply has no one to change. And the fact that FaZe Clan went on a break as the winner of Cologne, could not disturb the organization for possible reshuffles.
Quite unexpectedly, the Swedish team Ninjas in Pajamas remained unchanged, which continues to play without an ordinary sniper. Moreover, the organization still does not give any news regarding dev1ce, who continues to sit inactive and be treated for an incomprehensible "psychological illness" for eight months. As a result, Ninjas in Pajamas remained the same, and the team is unlikely to make a big transition in the last days of the outgoing summer.
The reshuffles bypassed Heroic as well. True, it was quite obvious, because the Danish organization only at the end of June invited Jabbi to join. Yes, and this is not the kind of team that will waste money on the wind, but will once again let the squad work and build their game. In any case, the Danes will again be considered the favorites, because their style is traditionally inconvenient for any opponent.
Another Danish team, Astralis, remained unchanged. There has been so much talk about the next replacement of the sniper and the possible return of dev1ce, but a few weeks ago, trace himself assured that the team would continue to work in the same lineup and prepare for the major. Of course, we believed, but looked back at the transfer rumors. And yet, Astralis decided to keep the lineup in the form in which it began to show at least some signs of life and steadily reach the playoffs of TIER-1 events.
The BIG team saved its leaders. Recall that some time ago, the organization could have been left without tabseN and gob b, who were actively interested in G2 Esports. But the Germans made a "knight's move" and re-signed contracts for five years in advance. A good help, since the team also began to find itself in the last championships.
In a sense, the NaVi team was left without reshuffles. Yes, sdy is still not a full member of the organization, but the club managed to extend the loan of the MAD Lions player at least until the end of the major. If we look ahead, then "Born to Win" is unlikely to surprise anyone if they leave Victor in the line-up for the next season.
Updated on 13.08: the main "engine" of NaVi s1mple will miss the first major championship of the season. His place will be taken by the youth team player "born to win" headtr1ck.
The most interesting - transfers and transitions
We simply could not get past the latest transfers and transitions that have already happened or are about to take place. Of course, an incident of Evil Geniuses can happen at any moment, but such a scenario is unlikely.
Let's start with those teams that have not yet officially confirmed the changes in their rosters. The first in line is G2 Esports. It is already obvious to everyone that the organization will invite jks and HooXi to the roster for the role of captain. Another point is what will happen to the coach, because XTQZZZ also risked leaving the club. But if we are talking about players, then let's stop at them. In general, the transition of jks and HooXi to G2 Esports is a settled matter, and it remains only to wait for the official announcement.
Another "belated" team can be considered Vitality. The French organization so far refuses to admit its mistakes after the supposedly breakthrough signing of the Danes last winter and is trying to look for problems where there were none. As a result, the team almost sent misutaaa to Evil Geniuses, but at the last moment the deal went through. And yet, Vitality does not deny himself the pleasure of acquiring Spinx, who is tired of pulling ENCE. It seems that the transition of the Israeli to the team is also a matter of time, and in a week and a half everything will fall into place.
Now it's worth talking about the teams that managed to make substitutions and even practice. First in line is OG, which announced the transfer of degster a couple of weeks ago. It is unlikely that anyone was surprised by this transition, because after Lisbon the team was strongly impressed by the aggressive sniper. Now it only remains to understand whether degster will always be able to drag the team?
The most tidbit of this material is the North American teams. Let's start with Complexity Gaming, which limited itself to changing the sniper by inviting hallzerk. A very strange decision, since the Norwegian was not noticeable even on the TIER-2 stage. In any case, after junior, the team will breathe a sigh of relief, because this variation is much more stable in simple moments.
Evil Geniuses can't be ignored either, but they admitted their mistakes and kicked RUSH together with Stewie2K. Now neaLaN and HexT will "dance" for the team, which looks interesting on paper. But, given the number of advances given to previous compositions of "Evil Geniuses", it is not worth sputtering too much.
We are finishing our Team Liquid mini-tour. "Liquid", as befits, did not scour around the bush, but simply decided to prolong YEKINDAR for another tournament. According to the available information, Marek has already been announced for Team Liquid at BLAST Premier Fall 2022 Groups. Well, the final transfer of the Latvian is for the sake of the bureaucracy and circumvention of sanctions.
Who is the favorite of BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2022?
Considering all the transitions and upcoming transfers, it seems that the duo of favorites of any major tournament will remain unchanged - FaZe Clan and NAVI. There are simply no prerequisites that someone will intervene in the struggle between the two leaders of the scene and begin to dictate their own terms of the game. Looking back, these two teams are way ahead of their rivals even without changes.
At the same time, it is impossible to single out a single team that would become much stronger. Vitality will again hit the corner due to communication problems and a difference in views, G2 Esports is unlikely to find a balance between a stellar roster and discipline, and OG will again be in a fever and throwing from side to side.
In general, no matter how trite it may sound, FaZe Clan and NAVI are the main contenders for victory in BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2022.
BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2022 will take place from August 19 to 28 at an unannounced location. Twelve partner teams from Europe, the CIS and North America will take part in the championship and compete for a prize pool of $177,498, rating points, as well as six trips to BLAST Premier: Fall Finals 2022.
The competition will begin with a group stage, following which the participants will form a kind of playoff bracket. Here the teams will compete for vacant places at BLAST Premier: Fall Finals 2022.
