Vitality confidently move one step closer to the PGL Cluj-Napoca 2026 trophy after defeating The MongolZ in the second semifinal of the tournament. Following a hard-fought battle on Mirage and complete domination on Dust2, the European powerhouse secured a 2-0 victory to become the second grand finalist. In the final, Vitality will face PARIVISION, while The MongolZ will compete for third place.

The first half of Mirage was tightly contested. The MongolZ gave their fans hope for a win on their map pick. After the side switch, the teams continued to trade rounds, with Vitality reaching map point. However, The MongolZ pushed the game into overtime, where they ultimately fell short 13:16.

Dust2 showed a completely different picture, as there was little resistance from the Mongolian side. Vitality fully dominated on the T side, while The MongolZ managed to win only three rounds on defense. The second half was short-lived, with Vitality comfortably closing Dust2 13:3.

Vitality confirmed their favorite status and became the second finalists of the tournament, where they will face PARIVISION in tomorrow’s grand final. The MongolZ will battle MOUZ in the third-place match.

PGL Cluj-Napoca 2026 takes place from February 14 to 22, featuring 16 teams competing for $225,000 for first place, with a total prize pool of $1,250,000.
