The IEM Cologne 2023 Play-In breakdown continues. We are at the Play-In stage of the biggest summer tournament with a prize pool of $1,000,000.

In the Play-In 16 teams are trying to make it to the group stage to challenge the top clubs like Heroic, Vitality, FaZe, G2, NaVi and others. Only half of the participants will be able to do so.

Already today in Cologne the matches for life will begin. All of them will be held in Bo3 format, and one of them will be a clash between Complexity and OG.

The battle between North America and Europe promises to be The International heresy. Nominally, the two teams are roughly on equal footing, which makes their face-to-face meeting should be close.

They can also play Nuke, Ancient and Anubis. But they have 33% wins each, with a very poor record of 6 and 3 maps respectively.

OG Form.

Let's move on to the OG form. The Europeans are the nominal outsider of the match.

The odds for an OG win are at around 1.9. Again, this is almost parity.

The 55th team of the world ranking cannot boast of big wins. OG played a lot of places during the season, but there are no results at all.

Among the most high-profile - 7th place on BLAST.tv European RMR A and passage to the Major tournament, but the failure directly in Paris. At the actual Paris Major 2023 the club took TOP-22.
