The group stage of Lima Major 2023 continues here and now. Next in line is the second stream of games on the third day of the group stage.

One of the central matches of the stream will be the confrontation between Team Aster and Entity in group B. Both teams claim high places in the first stage.

Entity will come to the duel in the third place of the group stage. The team won 5 maps out of 8 played.

Team Aster is not in the TOP 4 yet. The team occupies the 5th line of the table and is in the relegation zone: the team has drawn three times in 3 games.

In patch 7.32, Aster didn't invent the wheel: they played as far as possible, which brought results. Of the three most chosen among which are Marci, Mars, Tiny, the first two have won 6 out of 10 matches each, but Tiny has won only four fights.

Played on Puck (9 matches, 55% win rate), Leshrac (8 matches, 75% win rate), Snapfire (8 matches, 62% win rate).

Form Entity

The TOP-2 team of China will be opposed by representatives of Western Europe. And nominally the weakest.

In this match, Entities are in the status of an outsider. Bookmakers do not really believe in the success of Fishman and the company, giving odds of around 4 for their victory.

If we take into account all the parameters, including the performances before Lima, then yes, indeed, Entity looks more minor. Evaluating the performances exclusively in Lima, I cannot say that there is a big difference between the teams.

Entity managed to stabilize the roster. At least at this stage of the tournament, the team looks very harmonious and dignified.

The meta fits, they know how to play. They can show non-standard solutions, a game of several hardcarries (this was the case against Shopify Rebellion with the mid Drow Ranger). In general, they are a serious opponent, which is hinted at by their position in the standings.

Entity Performance

Entity took 4th place at DPC 2023 from Western Europe. The team played in replays for 3 teams and ended up second there.

In addition to matches at DPC 2023: WEU Upper Division, Entity played at third-party events. These were tournaments from BB.

Entity played at the Xmas Show even before the start of the DPC and failed there. In the new composition, they took TOP-6.

Before going to Peru, Entity played BB Universe: Episode 1 - Comics Zone. There, the team took the TOP-4, losing to the finalists of Team Spirit.

Entity played against Geek Slate in the first match and Knights in the second. To be frank, Fishman and company got easy opponents, although Geek Slate did notably beat up the Europeans, dragging out two games by 40+ and 60+ minutes.

The Knights also went dry. What is true, this Chinese club is very suspicious, but more on that later.

We tied with Shopify Rebellion and lost 0-2 against Liquid.

Entity Heroes

In the new season, Entity ran into Treant Protector, which appeared in 8 matches and has a 62% win rate. Along with Treant, they play Rubick, who also appeared 8 times and has a similar win rate.

Undying feels a little worse with a 50% win rate in the same 8 matches. Almost the only team that performs Invoker. Stormstormer rolled out his signature 6 times and won 4.

History of personal confrontations

Previously, the teams did not play each other in official matches. The duel within the group stage of Lima Major 2023 will be the debut face-to-face confrontation between the teams.

Match outcome

In this fight, you can expect an equal fight. Nevertheless, after analyzing the input data, I tend to favor Aster.

TOP-2 of China played against the favorites of the race, but Entity won against the worst representatives of group B, and with attempts. Nevertheless, I believe in one card from Entity, but I think there will be no more.
