The entire match was incredibly intense — there wasn’t a single moment to relax. It felt like KT Rolster were a completely different team at Worlds 2025, playing not at 100%, but at 200%. To be fair, Gen.G seemed a bit lost on the map and couldn’t apply the same level of pressure they usually do against other teams. And of course, credit must be given to Bdd, who contributed enormously to this victory.
After the second map, where Gen.G managed to even the score, most people thought the momentum had shifted and that Gen.G would now cruise to an easy win. But what KT did next was simply unbelievable. Their map control and understanding of their champions’ power spikes were exceptional, allowing them to secure most of the objectives uncontested. Smart zoning and perfect positioning left Gen.G with no chance to execute their composition.
The final fourth map showcased KT Rolster ’s superior macro understanding and timing. They were everywhere they needed to be at exactly the right moment. Complete dominance — highlighted by taking the fourth dragon at 23 minutes — left Gen.G with virtually no path to victory. And once again, Bdd ’s performance exceeded all expectations.
This victory pushes KT Rolster to a 10-1 record and sends them to the Worlds 2025 Grand Final as the first team to qualify! Unfortunately for Gen.G, their streak of struggles at the World Championship continues — they are eliminated in 3rd–4th place. Despite an incredible year overall, they once again fell short of reaching the very top at Worlds 2025.
Reminder: The Worlds 2025 Knockout Stage runs from October 28 to November 2, with the Grand Final taking place on November 9. All matches are played in a Best-of-Five format using the Fearless Draft system. The bracket follows a Single Elimination format — meaning teams that lose are immediately eliminated from the tournament.
